Has this problem been corrected for the EV6?
The 50 kW chargers are still not compatible with the Kia EV6 or the Ioniq 5. Thank you for checking in and we hope to have a resolution soon.
Have the 50Kw's been updated? Someone on plugshare charged an EV6 at Durant city Hall
Ron, thank you for reaching out again. The Ioniq 5 compatibility has improved with 50 kW chargers. With the Kia EV6 traction battery being 800v only (vs dual charging on the Ioniq 5 of 800v/400v) guidance regarding compatibility is still pending. We do not have a timeline as of yet.
You are incorrect both the Ioniq 5 and the EV6 are built with the same electrical specs. The EV6 can and does support 800v or 400v.

Ron, we appreciate the update as the original communications from Kia communicated that the Kia EV6 would not charge on a 208v AC at 400v DC charger. As communication between Kia and the hardware manufacturers is updated, we will share it here. Thank you for using the community forum.
Francis Energy, any updates on E-GMP cars working with your BTC Power L3S chargers?
I've successfully charged my Kia EV6 at a newer non-networked L3S 50 kW charger, but it was manufactured in 2022. Since most of the Francis Energy L3S chargers are older, a hardware or firmware update might be needed. Please update us because this issue isn't as widespread as initially thought.
Jacob,
Thank you for your feedback. Part of our platform upgrade includes the ability to manage firmware updates which at the moment is very relevant for E-GMP vehicles. While we do not have a timeline yet, once completed we want to let all E-GMP vehicle owners know it has been updated across the network.
